Dr. Charles R. McKenzie and Jeanne McKenzie of Salisbury, Maryland have announced the engagement of their daughter, Allyson Jeanne McKenzie of Washington, D.C., to Alexander Maltas of Washington, D.C., son of Mr. and Mrs. Chris Maltas of Cambridge, Massachusetts.

The bride-to-be is a 1997 graduate of Wicomico High School; a 2001 graduate of Rice University; and a 2004 graduate of the University of Virginia School of Law. She is employed as an attorney at Latham and Watkins, LLP in Washington, D.C.

Her fiance is a 1998 graduate of Brown University and a 2003 graduate of Harvard Law School. He is employed as an attorney at Latham and Watkins, LLP.

The wedding is being planned for May 2006 in Scotland.
